In the middle of nature

„the Laimbruchhof farm in Pfitsch“

A farm with history, a place of encounter, nature and diversity.

The historic Laimbruchhof farm, temporarily also known as Öttlhof, was first mentioned in 1253 and has always been considered a true place of power in Pfitsch/South Tyrol. This is also evidenced by the ‘Flower of Life’ immortalized in the wall of the house, which was discovered in the living room during the restoration of the historic building and has since adorned our logo. We want to preserve our farm and its special energy for future generations and allow it to grow step by step. We cordially invite you to participate in the further development as guests in our holiday apartments.

Really familiar

„Welcome to our farm“

  • Harald is our ‘handyman’. With his manual skills and technical know-how, he takes care of the small and big worries on the farm. You are welcome to give him a hand with the stable, wood and hay work. The revitalization of the historic building and the associated construction of the holiday apartments on the farm are a project close to his heart.

  • Gitti processes the farm's own produce and takes care of the paperwork. She completed her professional certification in herb cultivation at the Laimburg College of Fruit, Wine and Horticulture and planted a herb garden at Laimbruchhof, which continues to grow year after year. Why not try her wonderfully fragrant tea blends or the delicious syrups and herbal salts?

  • Grandma Annelies is our good soul, she loves cacti and flowers and lovingly looks after the animals - in the stable and outside. So don't be surprised if you see a fox family sneaking around the farm in the evening when it's quiet, or a squirrel looking for nuts early in the morning.

  • Eva is bursting with energy and, even at her young age, enjoys helping out on the farm. She particularly enjoys our animals. Of course, she knows which of our garden berries taste the sweetest and where the snow sliding is the most fun.

  • We look forward to welcoming you to our holiday apartments in Pfitsch near Sterzing soon!

„Really animalistic“

Cows and calves, chickens and cockerels, turkeys, ducks, dogs and cats - we love our farm animals and attach great importance to species-appropriate husbandry. You are welcome to take part in real farm life and the daily tasks of farming. Where does the fresh milk come from? Where do the chickens lay their eggs? How does work take place in the fields and forests? On a farm holiday with us, you can experience farm life up close with all your senses or just relax and unwind.

Important: Out of respect for our animals, who also need time to rest, you and your children may only visit and help out in the barn and hay barn when accompanied and at agreed times.

Really tastyr

„our farm products“

We start the day with birdsong - and of course with a hearty breakfast with farm and local products. Fresh eggs, raw milk from our cows, homemade fruit spreads, various syrups and herbal products as well as berries, vegetables and potatoes from our own garden/field - on your arrival you will find a list of our own farm products and delicacies from regional partners in your apartment. You can put together your own breakfast basket or conjure up a delicious lunch or dinner with seasonal vegetables from our field.

Really (re)creative

„Our wellness oasis is nature“

We don't have a solarium, sauna or swimming pool in the conventional sense on our South Tyrolean farm. Our wellness recipe is much spicier: we soak up the sun on the Laimbruchhof farm in the meadow and while working in the hay, where we also sweat hard (depending on the work ), or on a hike, mountain bike or climbing tour in our beloved mountains. An alpine forest bath in combination with a Kneipp tour in a mountain stream boosts our immune system. Our youngest guests can let off steam on the playground at the farm (with swings and trampoline) and in the neighbouring forest, go on a voyage of discovery, watch birds, build a forest hut, interpret animal tracks and experience much more. And in winter, when you've warmed up after sporting activities or a romp on our toboggan run, nothing is as refreshing and energizing as walking barefoot in the snow.
