Real Farm Holiday in Pfitsch
South Tyrol

Hello from the Laimbruchhof farm

Welcome to our farm with holiday apartments at the entrance to the South Tyrolean Pfitsch Valley. Just ten minutes by car from the historical family Fugger town of Sterzing, we have lovingly turned our listed farm into a real gem in the years 2023-25 with a lot of personal effort and great local craftsmen and are looking forward to welcoming you to our new apartments soon.

REAL HOSTS
"We are the Hofer family"

We, Harald, Gitti, Eva and grandma Annelies Hofer, have made it our mission to keep our farm in Pfitsch in the Wipptal/Upper Eisack Valley worth living in for future generations. In addition to traditional agriculture with livestock farming and small-scale herb, vegetable and berry cultivation, we invite you to fill our new holiday apartments in the historic farm building with real life and enjoy the products from our farm shop. We would like to make your holiday in South Tyrol honest, genuine, lively - simply ‘real’.

A REAL FEELING OF HOME
"Our Apartments"

Welcome to your ‘temporary home’! We are particularly proud of our new holiday apartments at the Laimbruchhof in Pfitsch/South Tyrol. We have put a lot of natural materials, a lot of passion and countless hours of work into the restoration and revitalization of the historic farm building and are now delighted to be able to offer genuine farm holidays in South Tyrol's Wipptal/Upper Eisack Valley. Solid wood walls, wonderfully fragrant stone pine bedrooms, cozy eat-in kitchens with every comfort and generous panoramic windows await you - in the middle of nature and yet very close to everything that makes an active and relaxing holiday in South Tyrol.

Additionally, on the ground floor of our unique farm building, you’ll find our new farm shop with a delicious selection of homemade jams, herbal tea blends, herb salts, spices, flower and herb syrups, as well as fresh seasonal vegetables, potatoes, and berries. A cozy lounge is also available for socializing in the South Tyrolean tradition.

REAL RELAXATION
"Summer freshness and winter happiness"

Would you like to discover the blossoming South Tyrolean spring with all your senses? Or how about a fresh breeze in summer? You can really unwind on an extended hike or mountain bike tour in the Zillertal Alps, sunbathe on the farm meadow or stroll through the centre of Sterzing. And not only in summer, but also in autumn, numerous peaks such as the Rotbachlspitze (2,897 m) or the Hochfeiler (3,510 m) beckon with fantastic views.

Of course, real holiday happiness also awaits you here in winter: whether cross-country skiing on the sunny Pfitsch valley trail, a challenging ski tour through a snow-covered winter landscape, skiing in the easily accessible ski areas of Roßkopf, Ladurns and Ratschings-Jaufen or simply tobogganing, sliding and playing on our field at the Laimbruchhof. We are happy to give you tips for a truly unique holiday in South Tyrol.

REAL SUSTAINABILITY
"Our farm, our life's work"

Our farm has always been a place of encounter, diversity and nature, which is why sustainability is not just a buzzword for us. Our animals are kept in a species-appropriate manner, farming is increasingly carried out according to the principles of permaculture and we have placed great emphasis on the use of natural materials in the restoration of the historic farmstead. Our holiday apartments are heated with wood chips (preferably from our own forest), our toilet flushes use rainwater from our rainwater tank and thanks to the pleasant summer climate in the upper Eisack Valley, we can do without air conditioning. We invite you to enjoy our farm products, fresh vegetables from our garden and the excellent quality of our drinking water and to support us by producing and separating our waste carefully.
